Vision Statement
Our vision at Lights for Christ Ministries is to reach Archdale and the surrounding communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe this is accomplished by standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word, being intentional in how we pursue this calling, and remaining prepared to give an answer for what we believe and why we believe it. Scripture is our foundation, and it guides both our message and our mission.
We are committed to carrying out this vision not in a spirit of arrogance, but in a spirit of love. We believe people need to know that we care before they care what we know. In this, we recognize and affirm the value God places on every human being—regardless of social class, skin color, gender, or perceived worth in the world. Our desire is to show the love of Christ and the goodness of God, trusting that His kindness leads people to repentance.
As people come to faith, we intentionally disciple them to become a “Light for Christ,” equipping them to live out their faith and to reproduce that same process in others. Though we often fall short ourselves, we strive toward faithfulness for the glory of God. We will stand firm on the Word of God, even when it is difficult or countercultural, because we believe that God’s truth alone has the power to transform sinful men into saints through faith in Jesus Christ. Our heart’s desire is the glory of God, and we seek to give Him glory by laying down our lives, taking up our crosses daily, and following after Christ.
Our Pastor
This is Pastor Cole Dillon. A man of God driven to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has served faithfully at Lights for Christ Ministries for 4 years. He is a husband, a father of 3 children, and is a bi-vocational pastor. We appreciate all of his hard work and dedication to our church.
